Fayette County drop-off empties the house. That is when monitoring starts.
Living in Greater Lexington does not mean one school system. Families relocating here miss that first. They call us second, once the house will sit empty during the school day.
Verify the district. Then monitor the empty house.
Fayette County Public Schools covers Lexington-Fayette, including Chevy Chase, Hamburg, Beaumont, Masterson Station, and Tates Creek. Scott County Schools is Georgetown. Jessamine County Schools covers Nicholasville and Wilmore. Woodford County Schools covers Versailles and Midway. Richmond, Paris, and Winchester sit in other districts. Verify the address — not the metro name — at the district site before you buy.
- Fayette County Public Schools — fcps.net. Henry Clay, Tates Creek, Lafayette, Bryan Station, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Frederick Douglass. School-day empties. Inside Lexington-Fayette, file the $15 CryWolf permit after install.
- Scott County Schools — Georgetown. Independent city. Georgetown Police is not Lexington Police. Ordinance 2022-22 deleted the user-permit. We do not invent a user-permit dollar amount.
- Jessamine County Schools — Nicholasville and Wilmore. Nicholasville PD is not Lexington Police. Same ADT watch as Chevy Chase. Different desk.
- Woodford County Schools — Versailles and Midway. Keeneland weeks add a second empty. Confirm that office from the ZIP.
- Madison, Bourbon, and Clark (Richmond, Paris, Winchester) — confirm the city or county office. We do not mill Pikeville.
UK calendars empty nearby houses too
University of Kentucky game days and breaks empty Chevy Chase, Ashland Park, and downtown on a different rhythm than K-12 drop-off. Promotional offers on this site are for homeowners. Say who keeps a key. Student-adjacent houses still need a registered, monitored system if you own the property.
We do not rank schools
Lexington homeowners can trust a SafeStreets security system monitored by ADT. We do not rank schools. We install the system for the hours nobody is home.
