Lock and unlock from the app on Smart+ and Complete+. Arm from New Circle or Tates Creek on the way to work.
Thermostat
Optional on Smart+. Same app as the alarm.
Glass-break sensor
For large windows when a contact is not enough — common on Chevy Chase and Ashland Park glass.
ADT app
Arm, disarm, alerts, and video on supported plans. App access starts on Secure+.
Do I have to take cameras?
No. Secure+ monitors doors and windows without video. Complete+ adds doorbells and cameras. Skip video if a downtown board or a Beaumont HOA will not allow it. The watch on the openings remains.
Will the panel still reach ADT if KU is out?
Ask about cellular backup on the quote. A professionally installed system can still reach ADT if Kentucky Utilities power or the Wi-Fi drops. That is the point of monitoring, not a camera kit you watch yourself.
The builder left a keypad in Hamburg. Is that ADT?
Usually not. Builder leftover keypads in Hamburg, Beaumont, and Masterson Station plats die with the closing Wi-Fi. Photograph yours. We replace it with a professionally installed, ADT-monitored system — or we turn a real ADT panel back on if that is what is on the wall.
